Time for a little change...

I know it must sound stupid but I have postpone this post for a few days....in some strange way it's difficult to say goodbye to this oll weblog that I have had for the last 3 years. (started in june 06)

Lot's have happened in these 3 years.....

But let's not get sentimental ;) As I posted a few days ago I have been working on a new website that includes a blog.  I think its representable enough to now give you the link and start posting there instead of here....

Help this little snowman

At the Cosmo Cricket blog they are trying to get a 1000 comments from people willing to donate to their local foodbank, in order to donate 1000 dollars to the foodbank themselfs. Speaking about sneak peeks, I know lots of you are used to find lots of CHA sneak peeks on my blog but I think I just can't make it this time around. I just don't have enough time to collect and upload all these images....sorry.

Work in progress

I know I am a bit quiet on the blog these last days but for one it is hot...and I mean really really hot here at the moment. Summer started with a big BANG here and i am glad we have airco at the office because else I think there would only be a little pool of water left from me by now.  Which would look nice at the scale but I must say I am not doing to bad at that deparment anyway. It's going slow and not much happend for almost 2,5 weeks, which made it really difficult to hang in and go on with my diet but I did! This week I lost an other 2 kilo's wich makes the total 7 kilo's and a bit now.

But I am getting of track, loosing weight hasn't anything to do with not blogging.

I am working on a new website! It will be a website were I will blog, were you will find my little Vintage Tearoom shop (see banner upper right corner, only in Dutch now), were you will find everything about my scrapping and were I will post ideas, details and information about our wedding plans! I hope it will be a nice place with a lot of fun stuff for everyone to look at and read but most of all a nice place for myself to put everything down.

As soon as it is finished I will let you all know and I hope you will move along with me :) Here is a little sneak on how the website will look.

More to be happy about!

I am soooooooooooooo happy!! She asked me to stay around for a whole new year!! YES! I am dancing around because this last year was just so great and so much fun! This next year can only get better :D

O sorry! I am talking about Julie Comstock from Cosmo Cricket! I will be on the Cosmo Cricket designteam for a new year!!! YES YES YES!

Okay....can you tell I am excited!? Well you can be as well....there is a designteam call on over at the Cosmo Cricket weblog! They are looking for 3 to 5 new designteam members so, do you love Cosmo Cricket half as much as I do?! Get your scrapstuff togther and go for it!!! I can't wait to see who will be joining the team!

My dream of a wedding bouquet

Help, can somebody stop me?! I keep altering everything that comes in my way. Like when cleaning up my scraproom (just a bit) I found this empty Maya Road tin....just couldn't help myself! Maybe it's that lovely Early Bird collection from Cosmo Cricket that makes me do this!!

Some of you already know, my original profession is....florist. Now I know the link with working at the administration of a wheelchair company is a tiny bit strange but that's just what life brought me ;) Now maybe it has something to do with Jacob asking me to mary him but tonight I just wanted to make a wedding bouquet! Since I now work more with lovely papers than flowers......what else to do than make a wedding bouquet out of.....scrapbookpaper. Again the Early Bird collection from Cosmo Cricket :D

The story!

So here is the story all about how.....;)

We had this little party from my work, bbq with 10 people and after that on our way to Disco Inferno!

We had a lot of fun dancing and singing along with all these 70's and 80's hits! After a while some of us wanted to get a bit closer towards the stage to see the artists better. Nothing strange with that right? When we were there for about half an hour a host came on the stage announcing that there was one lady somewhere between all these people (5000!!) who needed to come on the stage for a big surprise, at which I said...."well you should be that lucky...yikkes!! I would die a slow dead!".....

Natasja Verbeek are you around here....was the next thing I heard....well the change that there were two Natasja Verbeeks....no...way. So my eyes popped out and I was slowly pushed in the right direction...

So here I was standing on the stage. (IEKS!)  Answering questions about with who I was attending the party when Jacob followed me in his white disco suite and took over the mic...

got down on his knee...

And asked me to marry him, in from of aaaalll these people!

Well of course I said YES!

And look at my beautiful engagement ring!!

 

I am still in shock, never expect Jacob to do something like this! I think he is so brave...and sweet..and..and. :D

I hope this gave you a bit of an impression on one of the most amazing evening in my life.....so far!

The pictures aren't the best quality but that's because they were cut out of a little movie that was made. Must say some of these pictures got me even more motivated to loose much more weight, no way I am going to look like that in a wedding dress!

Can't get enough

Of the new Early Bird line from Cosmo Cricket. So played some more last night. Hey and one is hiding on the attic with it's scrap supplies one can't eat right?!

Since Noa's teacher has her birthday tomorrow Noa and I backed some fresh cookies and Noa will give these to her in this cute box. Hope her teacher will like it!

 

Jacob with his refound best friend. After 3 years back together. They have lots of fun, talk, fool around and cook togeter! Renewed friendships seem to be the strongest ;)
